DTF PRESSING GUIDE

Welcome to Wild Transfers DTF Pressing Guide! You will find all of the information you will need regarding what temperature, what pressure and for how long you need to press your transfers onto your chosen fabric type.

Heat Press Temperature:

100% Cotton - 160c (302F).

100% Polyester and Poly/Cotton Blends - 150c (290F)

Pressing Time:

For 100% Cotton Fabric - 160c for 15 seconds with Teflon or Parchment paper on top of transfer.

Take the garment with the transfer off your heat press for it to cool down. Wait about 20-30 seconds until transfer paper has cooled then peel film. Replace your Teflon/Parchment over the design and re press the garment for 10 seconds to seal the image in (really important you do this step as your transfer will feel softer)

For 100% Polyester and Cotton/Poly Blends - 150c for 10 seconds with Teflon or Parchment paper on top of transfer.

Take the garment with the transfer off your heat press for it to cool down. Wait about 20-30 seconds until transfer paper has cooled then peel film. Replace your Teflon/Parchment over the design and re press the garment for 5 seconds to seal the image in (really important you do this step as your transfer will feel softer)

Setting your Heat Press:

Tighten the dial until the press won't close. Loosen dial progressively until the press closes. You want your heat press to have enough pressure to have the transfer make contact with your garment.

Ideally you want your heat press to need you to use both hands to close it. The more pressure the better your print will press.

Washing Instructions:

To keep your image looking fresh once pressed, please wash your garments inside out, on a low temperature and do not tumble dry.
